Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has affirmed the government’s commitment to resolving the challenges faced by employees. In a meeting at the Command Control Center, he engaged with representatives from the Employees’ Joint Action Committee (JAC), alongside Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and government advisor K. Keshava Rao.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister announced that a decision regarding the payment of Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees would be communicated by Friday evening. To address various employee-related concerns, a Cabinet Sub-Committee has been formed, led by the Deputy Chief Minister and comprising ministers Duddilla Sreeramulu and Ponnam Prabhakar as members, with Keshava Rao serving as a special invitee.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee plans to meet with representatives from employee unions on a departmental basis after Diwali. The Cabinet will consider the report previously submitted by the sub-committee regarding GO 317. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, attended the meetings with JAC representatives.
