Islamabad: Torrential rains have triggered devastating floods across Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, leading to massive loss of life and property. Officials confirmed that the death toll has risen to 365, with 225 fatalities reported in Buner district alone.
The floods caused landslides that destroyed bridges and roads, crippling transportation and leaving people stranded. More than 1,000 individuals are reported missing, while thousands of families are struggling in inundated low-lying areas. Authorities have launched large-scale evacuation efforts, shifting residents to safer zones.

Entire villages have been washed away, and infrastructure damage is widespread. Since June, around 657 people have lost their lives, including a significant number of children. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) stated that at least 929 people have been injured during the ongoing monsoon havoc.
