Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has addressed the agitation by the unemployed demanding the postponement of DSC, Group-2, and Group-3 exams in Telangana. Speaking at a function today to distribute Katamayya protection kits to the Gowda community, he stated, “The unemployed should meet the ministers and raise their concerns regarding the postponement of recruitment exams. It is our responsibility to resolve those issues.”
For the past several days, the unemployed have been protesting, demanding the postponement of the DSC, Group-2, and Group-3 exams. Candidates who applied for these exams argue that there isn’t enough time between the TET and the DSC exams, and those who have applied for both will suffer due to the short gap between the exams. They are also demanding that the number of Group-2 and Group-3 posts be increased as promised during the elections.
Despite these demands, the government has repeatedly stated that the exams will not be postponed. Speaking at an event yesterday, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that postponing the exams would be detrimental to the candidates who have applied. The unemployed have staged protests in Ashok Nagar and Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad. In this context, CM Revanth Reddy’s latest comments have sparked considerable discussion.
