A ceremony for the distribution of land allotment documents to members of the Jawaharlal Nehru Journalist Housing Society was held at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as the chief guest. During his address, the CM assured that every eligible journalist would be granted housing land as promised by the government.
Revanth Reddy emphasized the Congress government’s previous decision to provide housing for journalists and highlighted the importance of accountability in addressing these issues. He also underscored the government’s commitment to journalists, including the provision of accreditation cards, health cards, and land allotments. Furthermore, he announced a ₹10 crore allocation from the Special Development Fund to the Media Academy. The CM reassured that all eligible journalists would receive housing plots in Future City, putting an end to years of waiting for many in the society.
