Telangana Delegation Participates in World Expo in Osaka, Strengthening Ties with Japan

The Telangana Rising delegation, led by CM Revanth, participated in the “World Expo” in Osaka, Japan, where they met with business leaders and industrialists from various sectors. Speaking at the event, CM Revanth expressed pride in Telangana being the first state from India to take part in the Expo. He highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Telangana and Japan and stated, “A new chapter is beginning in Telangana, like the sunrise over Osaka Bay. Let’s build a fantastic future together with Osaka and the world. Let’s turn this relationship into a long-term partnership and collaborate on future plans with new innovations.”

Telangana: A Hub for IT, Biotechnology, and Aerospace Industries

Minister of IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, noted that Telangana has already established a strong reputation in the IT and biotechnology sectors. He further mentioned that the state offers a favorable environment for industries in aerospace, electronics, and textiles.

Future City Development and Collaboration with Japan

The state government is working on developing a Future City across 30,000 acres near Hyderabad, focusing on eco-friendly, energy-efficient, smart mobility, and circular economy principles. An industrial park is being set up in collaboration with Japan’s Marubeni Corporation. Minister Sridhar Babu also pointed out that Telangana is learning valuable lessons from Tokyo and Osaka regarding the development of urban green spaces.
