Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday announced that the state government will constitute a committee comprising a retired judge and retired officials to study the reorganisation of districts. He said the panel will submit its report within at least six months, after which the government will undertake a fresh, scientific division of districts based on the recommendations.
The Chief Minister also announced immediate relief for state government employees, stating that one installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) will be released without delay. In addition, he said the government will implement accident insurance coverage of up to ₹1 crore for every state government employee.
