Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has delivered promising news for the state’s farmers, announcing that the second phase of the farm loan waiver process will be completed by July 31. Speaking at a public meeting in Kalwakurthy on Sunday, the CM emphasized the government’s commitment to fulfilling its electoral promises.
“Our government will fulfill the promises made in the elections one by one. One of them, the farm loan waiver, is being implemented in a phased manner,” said CM Revanth Reddy. He highlighted that loans below Rs 1 lakh have already been waived off and assured that the second phase, covering loans up to Rs 1.5 lakh, will be implemented by the end of July.
The Chief Minister also mentioned his upcoming foreign tour from August 2 to 14 and pledged to complete the Rs 2 lakh loan waiver process upon his return in August. This phased approach aims to alleviate the financial burden on farmers and boost agricultural productivity in the state.
