The Congress party has launched Operation Aakarsh in Telangana, actively recruiting MLAs from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Six BRS MLAs have already been inducted into the Congress.
In a significant move, Gadwal BRS MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy joined the Congress today at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s residence. The induction took place in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Telangana Congress state affairs in-charge Deepadas Munshi. Reddy symbolically wrapped himself in the Congress scarf, signaling his departure from BRS and KCR. Party sources have indicated that six more BRS MLAs are expected to join the Congress tomorrow.
