Amaravati/Tirupati: Threatening emails claiming bombs had been planted at the residences of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Reddy have created widespread concern. The messages also mentioned multiple locations in Tirupati and referred to a planned attack under the name “Holi Islamic Friday Blasts.”
Authorities have responded by putting security forces on high alert and launching investigations to identify the culprits. The threats coincided with CM Chandrababu Naidu’s scheduled visit to Tirupati on October 6, prompting bomb squads and officials to take precautionary measures.
Thorough inspections are underway not only in Tirupati but also in Srikalahasti. Security teams are conducting detailed checks at the CM helipad located within the Tirupati Agriculture College premises, ensuring maximum safety for the upcoming official visit.
