New Delhi: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay took to Twitter to strongly criticize Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s administration, questioning the allocation and utilization of funds meant for farmers’ welfare. In a series of tweets, he accused the government of mismanaging funds earmarked for agricultural guarantees and loan waivers.
Bandi Sanjay raised concerns over the alleged diversion of funds intended for farmers’ guarantee payments during the rabi and kharif seasons, amounting to over Rs 20,000 crore. He asserted that these funds were crucial for supporting farmers and agricultural laborers, highlighting discrepancies in the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
“Is celebrating the misappropriation of farmers’ guarantee amounts and the flawed implementation of loan waivers CM Revanth Reddy’s achievement?” Sanjay questioned, implying political motives behind recent agricultural policies.
Further emphasizing on the financial hardships faced by farmers, he demanded transparency in the allocation of no-dues certificates for farmers with loans under Rs 2 lakh and urged for immediate sanctioning of new loans as per electoral promises.
