Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has stated that Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay is like a brother to him. In an exclusive interview with RTV, Ponnam revealed that despite belonging to different political parties, they maintain a cordial relationship and regularly communicate.
“We have been close since our student leader days. Political differences are inevitable during elections, but they don’t affect our personal rapport,” he clarified, dismissing any rumors of disputes between them.

Navodaya School to Be Set Up in Vangara
The minister disclosed that he recently spoke to Bandi Sanjay over the phone, requesting the establishment of a Navodaya School in Vangara, the birthplace of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. “Sanjay responded positively and assured his support,” Ponnam said, expressing confidence that the school will be inaugurated soon.

Interaction with KCR at His Farmhouse
Ponnam also touched upon his meeting with former Chief Minister KCR at his farmhouse during the Telangana Thalli statue unveiling. He mentioned that they discussed various issues during the visit, though he did not elaborate on the details.
Development in Husnabad Constituency
The minister provided updates on development activities in his Husnabad constituency. He highlighted progress on the promises made to the people and outlined future projects to be undertaken in the region.
He also spoke about the state government’s upcoming welfare schemes, which are expected to be launched after the Sankranti festival. The full interview will be broadcast on RTV on Monday.
