In the CLP meeting, Chief Minister Revanth made significant comments, stating that Prime Minister Modi is bringing about joint elections solely to win for the fourth time. He urged party members to stay vigilant regarding these joint elections. He also emphasized that for providing reservations to the backward classes (BCs), it is essential to conduct a proper population census. He encouraged party members to take government programs to the public and mentioned that district president positions should be given only to those present among the people.

He noted, “Under my leadership as PCC president, we came to power in the state in the assembly elections and won Lok Sabha seats. I express my gratitude to the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi for appointing Mahesh Kumar Goud as the Telangana PCC president,” and added that the CLP unanimously passed a resolution.

Additionally, he stated that party leaders and workers should take government programs to the public. He reiterated that district president positions should be given to those who are among the people. He mentioned that they have nominated 36 individuals for posts in the party’s affiliated departments, recognizing their efforts during challenging times. “Those who work hard will definitely find opportunities within the party.” He highlighted that Mahesh Goud took on the responsibilities of PCC chief at a time when there is a historical need to defeat Narendra Modi.

Revanth also pointed out that Rahul Gandhi’s idea of conducting a caste census for the BCs is a strong one. “Following Rahul’s vision, we have appointed the BC Commission chairman and members. For providing reservations to the BCs, a proper population count is essential. We have formed a cabinet subcommittee under Uttam Kumar Reddy’s leadership for the implementation of SC classification. This committee will thoroughly study the Supreme Court ruling and report to the government.”

He stated that Modi is making efforts to establish control for the fourth time over the country and warned that joint elections are being brought forth for this very reason. “I have not taken a single day off in the past nine months. No state government in India has waived farmer loans amounting to ₹18,000 crores in just 27 days. The goal of the government is to provide debt relief to farmers. We are going to introduce family digital cards and will provide a health profile digital card to everyone. We will ensure that ration can be collected from anywhere in the state,” said CM Revanth.
