The Revanth government has prioritized addressing encroachments in the Musi river basin areas of Hyderabad. As part of the Musi beautification and redevelopment initiative, a decision has been made to demolish illegal constructions. The Hydra has been assigned the responsibility of removing these encroachments.

Plans are also underway to allocate double-bedroom houses to displaced residents in the Musi area. Officials have conducted a survey, identifying over 12,000 encroachments within a total area of 55 kilometers.

In a related development, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inspected double-bedroom houses in the Pilligudisel area of the Malakpet constituency on Saturday morning. He confirmed that these houses would be allocated to residents living around the Musi river. The Chief Minister is moving forward with a concrete plan for the Musi beautification project, aiming to enhance tourism, industry, and employment opportunities in the region.

Additionally, plans for the renovation and reconstruction of the Musi river are being formulated to meet future needs. The minister inquired with officials about the number of pending constructions for double-bedroom houses.
