Rani Kumudini, recently appointed as the Telangana State Election Commissioner, has officially assumed her responsibilities. A member of the 1988 IAS batch, Kumudini has served in various capacities within both the central and state governments. She retired in July 2023.
The state government issued the appointment orders for Rani Kumudini as the State Election Commissioner just two days prior to her taking charge. On Thursday, she officially took office at the State Election Commission headquarters in Masab Tank, Hyderabad. Kumudini will serve in this role for a term of three years.
