In a dramatic development, MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of plotting to have him killed. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Kaushik Reddy expressed concerns about his safety and claimed he is willing to sacrifice his life for the people of Telangana, though he would not compromise his principles.
Kaushik Reddy responded to recent statements by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who alleged that Kaushik Reddy had orchestrated an attack on his residence. Kaushik Reddy condemned these claims as disgraceful and questioned the state’s law and order situation.
The MLA demanded that a case be filed against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, urging the Chief Minister to clarify the motives behind the alleged murder plot. Kaushik Reddy suggested that the attacks against him were a result of his vocal stance on state issues. Despite Kaushik Reddy’s assertions that the attack was instigated by his own supporters, he questioned the inaction of the DGP and Home Secretary.
Kaushik Reddy insisted on pursuing legal action against the Chief Minister and indicated that his party would deliberate on meeting with the Governor. He criticized Cyberabad Commissioner for failing to act on the issue and called for accountability regarding the lack of measures against the ACP and CI. He further challenged Revanth Reddy on the “vote for note” issue, asking why it had not been addressed.
Additionally, Kaushik Reddy made allegations about past interactions with Revanth Reddy, claiming that Revanth Reddy had once sought his support to become PCC Chief. He also accused Revanth Reddy of promising victory for MLA Eatala Rajender in exchange for ₹25 crore, which Kaushik Reddy cited as his reason for joining the BRS.
