On Thursday, Chief Minister and TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu chaired a meeting of the Politburo at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) headquarters in Mangalagiri. Following the meeting, Andhra Pradesh TDP President Palla Srinivas Rao addressed the media.
The Politburo has resolved to allocate nominated posts to dedicated party workers and provide them with appropriate roles. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of involving activists in government functions, noting that the party has already compiled a list of those who have contributed significantly to its growth. The party plans to implement a membership drive to further strengthen its base.
During the meeting, discussions also focused on the status of key projects such as Polavaram and Amaravati, which were adversely affected by the previous government. Additionally, the benefits of river inter-linking projects for the state were reviewed. The Politburo expressed satisfaction with the support received from the Centre in these matters.
