Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu concluded his visit to Delhi. During a casual interaction with national media representatives, he emphasized, “The rebuilding of Andhra Pradesh is my primary agenda and goal, which is why I undertook this two-day visit to Delhi. The central leaders responded positively. We are not seeking positions or putting pressure on anyone for posts. Even during Vajpayee’s tenure, we did not receive seven cabinet berths, and I did not discuss posts with key leaders in the central government.
Our focus is on securing support for the state. The people of Andhra Pradesh have rid themselves of the previous leadership. We have reopened the state to investors and industrialists, although some are still hesitant due to past issues. During Jagan’s tenure, Andhra Pradesh, including Amaravati and Polavaram, faced significant setbacks. I have always advocated for a fair resolution of issues between the two states. Despite the division, we are all brothers and should move forward together.
I am hopeful that my meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will yield positive results. My goal is to make Amaravati a global leader. We are satisfied with the ministerial positions allotted to us. Within five years, we will complete the permanent assembly, secretariat, and high court buildings. A skill census will be conducted to transform human resources into capital resources and generate wealth. We contested and won the elections with the agenda of rebuilding Andhra Pradesh,” stated Chandrababu.
