They lack the maturity to handle others’ achievements and resort to spreading lies. RTV, the leading Telugu YouTube channel, has recently become a target of such false news. Several YouTube channels are engaging in fake propaganda against RTV.
Recently, a YouTube channel, a website, and several social media users have initiated a baseless campaign against RTV, falsely claiming that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on the channel. However, the public is not easily deceived and recognizes RTV’s integrity. Those behind this fake news should understand that such baseless allegations do not gain credibility. It is well-known that certain mainstream media outlets have become mouthpieces for political parties, especially during election times. Despite this, RTV has consistently outperformed other channels in predicting the results of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana elections, achieving higher viewership.
Unable to tolerate RTV’s success, some individuals are spreading false propaganda through unreliable YouTube channels. These detractors are unwilling to confront RTV directly and instead use fake channels to discredit it. However, the public is not easily misled. It is advisable for these individuals to cease their smear campaigns and avoid repeating their mistakes. Spreading false news will only damage their own reputations.
