A powerful car bomb exploded near Gate Number 1 of Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, killing at least eight people and injuring several others. Reports indicate that many victims were severely dismembered, and dozens sustained serious injuries in the blast.
The injured were immediately shifted to LNJP Hospital for emergency treatment. The explosion also engulfed nearby vehicles in flames, causing extensive damage.
