Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: Munugode MLA Rajagopal Reddy participated in the unveiling of a Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue at Ellagiri village in Choutuppal Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, and criticized the Congress government for neglecting development funds in his constituency.

Reddy stated that while government positions are being allocated, funds for constituency development have not been released. “I previously said that you have the posts and the money. I was referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,” he said, addressing party workers.

He highlighted that road contractors in Munugode have not received funds for CC road works. “Even after approaching ministers multiple times, funds have not been released. Contractors are refusing to carry out work and demanding payments. Bills are with the Chief Minister, not me. I have not criticized the Chief Minister or the party, but people are asking me to ensure work is done,” he added.

Reddy appealed to the government to release the necessary funds for Munugode, emphasizing that denying them would be an injustice to the voters. He urged local leaders to support the constituency and encouraged voters to elect capable candidates in upcoming local body elections. “If they stand with me, I will fight alongside them. Avoid electing those who will repeatedly seek funds; choose good people,” he said.
