Hyderabad: Gold and silver prices witnessed a slight decline on Sunday across key cities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, providing some relief to buyers after a steady upward trend in recent days. The price of gold, which had recently crossed ₹10,000 per gram in some areas, has now receded marginally.
In Hyderabad, the price of 24-carat gold dropped to Rs 9,769 per gram, with 10 grams priced at Rs 97,690 — a decrease of Rs 280 from the previous day. The 22-carat variety was recorded at Rs 8,955 per gram and Rs 89,550 for 10 grams, down by Rs 250. Silver prices also declined, with 10 grams priced at Rs 1,170 and 1 kg at Rs 1,17,000 — a fall of ₹1,000 from the previous day.
A similar trend was observed in Vijayawada, where 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 9,769 per gram and Rs 97,690 per 10 grams. The 22-carat gold stood at Rs 8,955 per gram and Rs 89,550 for 10 grams. Silver prices matched Hyderabad’s rates at Rs 1,170 per 10 grams and Rs 1,17,000 per kg.

In Visakhapatnam, gold prices were identical to those in Hyderabad and Vijayawada. Market analysts attribute the minor drop to international price fluctuations and local demand-supply adjustments. Despite the dip, prices remain high compared to previous months.
