YSRCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas has been hit with six police cases across Andhra Pradesh in a single day. Jana Sena leaders filed complaints in various police stations, alleging that Srinivas made derogatory remarks against party chief Pawan Kalyan. Cases have been registered at Machilipatnam, Avanigadda, Pamarru, Gudivada, Pedana, and Tiruvuru police stations in the erstwhile Krishna district.

This follows the recent arrest of Posani Krishna Murali, who was booked in 17 cases statewide for alleged offensive comments against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh. Now, similar legal action is being pursued against Duvvada Srinivas.

Jana Sena leaders, including Tekkali in-charge Kanithi Kiran Kumar, formally lodged complaints, prompting police to register cases. They accused Srinivas of making objectionable statements against Pawan Kalyan and pointed out that no action was taken when the party’s Tekkali office was attacked in the past. Party leaders have demanded a thorough investigation and legal proceedings.

Additionally, a complaint was filed at Gudivada Rural Police Station over Srinivas’ recent comments in the Assembly, where he alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was paying Rs 50 crore per month to Pawan Kalyan. Jana Sena leaders strongly condemned the remarks and urged authorities to take appropriate legal action.

Meanwhile, Duvvada Srinivas is also entangled in a personal controversy. His wife, Duvvada Vani, and daughters have publicly criticized him, accusing him of being in a live-in relationship with a woman named Divvela Madhuri. The dispute escalated when Vani, along with her daughters and father, staged a protest outside his residence in Tekkali, demanding that he vacate the house. The matter is currently in court.

Addressing the controversy, Srinivas stated in an interview that he had requested YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy to suspend him to prevent further embarrassment to the party. However, he claimed that Jagan assured him the issue would be resolved soon. With legal proceedings now underway, it remains to be seen how Srinivas will respond to the allegations.
