Former Minister Roja has reactivated her political career following a period of silence since her election defeat. She had distanced herself from the media and there were speculations about her resignation from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Rumors also circulated about her joining a new party led by Vijay in Tamil Nadu.

However, Roja met with YSRCP leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy yesterday to address these rumors. She lodged a complaint against those who had worked against her during the last election. Roja detailed to Jagan how certain individuals had betrayed the party’s interests.

In response, Jagan has taken serious action against the leaders involved. He instructed party officials to impose disciplinary measures on those who worked against Roja. Consequently, the party suspended K.J. Kumar from the city and a former municipal chairman. YSRCP district president and MLC Bharat issued a statement regarding these suspensions.

It has come to light that both suspended individuals are alleged supporters of former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, leading to speculation that this development has come as a significant shock to Peddireddy. Prior to the elections, Roja had accused her own party leaders of conspiring against her and campaigning for the opposition TDP candidates. Her statements made on election day went viral, further intensifying the situation.
