YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recently held a press conference to address the coalition government’s newly introduced budget, sharply criticizing TDP leader Chandrababu for alleged “drama” and deceit. Jagan questioned the prolonged delay in presenting the budget, suggesting that Chandrababu feared that its release would expose falsehoods within his administration. He added that the delay stemmed from concerns that the public would demand accountability for the “Super Six” schemes.
Accusing the government of misleading the public, Jagan described the budget as a tactic to distract citizens. He also criticized recent efforts to undermine the Super 6 and Super 7 schemes, likening Chandrababu’s approach to exaggerated performances in cinema, specifically NTR’s role in *Dana Veera Soora Karna*.
Jagan further alleged that TDP’s objective was to obstruct the YSRCP administration from the outset, accusing them of spreading misinformation about excessive borrowing. Referring to a recent social media post that drew a parallel between Andhra Pradesh’s finances and Sri Lanka’s economic crisis, Jagan condemned it as baseless. He disclosed that TDP had even written letters to various agencies to prevent the state from accessing loans, indicating what he termed a concerted campaign against the YSRCP government.
