The election for MLC seats under the MLA quota in Andhra Pradesh concluded with a unanimous victory. Konidela Nagababu from Jana Sena, Somu Veerraju from BJP, and Kavali Grishma, Beeda Ravichandra Yadav, and BT Naidu from TDP were declared elected unopposed.
The Election Commission had recently issued a notification for the election of five MLCs in AP. With the ruling alliance holding a clear majority in the Assembly, all five seats were secured without contest. With only five nominations filed for the five seats, the election was declared unanimous, and certificates were handed over to the elected candidates.

Similarly, in Telangana, the MLC election for five seats also saw a unanimous outcome. Congress candidates Addanki Dayakar, Vijayashanti, and Shankar Naik, BRS candidate Dasoju Sravan, and CPI candidate Nellikanti Suryam were declared elected unopposed. The officials issued certificates to the newly elected members.
