TTD Cancels Offline Tickets for Divyanugraha Homam During Vaikuntha Ekadashi

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of offline tickets for the Sri Srinivasa Divyanugraha Visesha Homam at Alipiri from January 10 to January 19, coinciding with Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations. TTD stated that the decision was taken to ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees during this crucial period and requested cooperation from pilgrims.

The Divyanugraha Visesha Homam, which commenced at the Sapta Gopradakshina Mandiram in November 2023, has been attracting a steady flow of devotees. The tickets for the homam are priced at Rs 1,000 each, with entry allowed for two persons per ticket through an online booking system.

Employees Must Act as TTD Brand Ambassadors: EO Shyamal Rao

Addressing TTD employees ahead of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, Executive Officer J. Shyamal Rao emphasized that employees are the institution’s brand ambassadors and must take on added responsibilities during the festive period. He urged employees to focus on delivering seamless services to devotees and outlined several instructions for effective crowd management.

“TTD has a strong and collaborative administrative framework, which has successfully managed key events such as the Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavams and the Tiruchanur Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavams. The same level of dedication and efficiency must be displayed during Vaikuntha Ekadashi,” the EO said.

He called on employees to ensure that Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan is conducted smoothly, thereby enhancing the experience for pilgrims.

Key Directives for Vaikuntha Ekadashi

TTD has instructed its employees to follow specific guidelines to manage the influx of devotees during the festive period. Officials noted that important updates would be shared through WhatsApp to ensure timely communication with staff.

Officials also highlighted that devotees from different parts of India and abroad visit Tirumala, bringing diverse traditions and customs. Special emphasis was laid on handling sensitive occasions such as Garuda Seva and Vaikuntha Ekadashi with patience and skill.

EO Shyamal Rao reminded employees to adhere to the following instructions:

– Wear traditional attire to reflect the sanctity of the institution.
– Speak politely to pilgrims and provide clear guidance at parking areas and waiting points.
– Ensure proper crowd management to avoid confusion and inconvenience to devotees.

“Representing a globally recognized institution like TTD requires strict adherence to guidelines. It is imperative that we provide services that are in line with the traditions and expectations of pilgrims,” the EO added.

The TTD reiterated its commitment to making Vaikuntha Ekadashi a memorable spiritual experience for devotees and stressed that no eligible pilgrim should face inconvenience during the celebrations.
