Hyderabad: The investigation into the betting apps promotion case in the Telugu states is intensifying, with police filing cases against several Tollywood actors and social media influencers. Punjagutta police initially registered cases against 11 individuals, followed by Miyapur police booking 25 more.

Prominent film personalities named in the case include actors Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda, Prakash Raj, and Manchu Lakshmi. Several social media influencers, including Bhayya Sunny Yadav, Pareshan Boys Imran, Surekha Vani’s daughter Supritha, Harsha Sai, Tasty, and anchors Vishnu Priya, Shyamala, and Ritu Choudhary, have also been booked.

Meanwhile, YouTuber Anvesh from the channel Naa Anveshana, who has been vocal against betting app promotions, made serious allegations on Saturday. In a video released from abroad, he claimed that transactions worth ₹1,000 crore took place through betting app promotions. He accused actors Prakash Raj, Manchu Lakshmi, Rana Daggubati, and Vijay Deverakonda of involvement, alleging that betting-related earnings were misused.

Anvesh further claimed that Prakash Raj made significant profits from betting apps and accused Rana Daggubati of purchasing a tequila factory in Mexico using betting proceeds. He also questioned the lack of accountability towards victims who lost money through these platforms. The allegations have sparked widespread debate, adding to the growing controversy surrounding the case.
