Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay has officially entered the political arena, announcing his intention to contest in approximately 324 constituencies in the upcoming assembly elections. Vijay, who has focused on party activities, unveiled the flag of his newly launched Tamil Vetri Kazhagam party on Thursday.
Addressing his supporters, Vijay introduced the party flag, describing it as a symbol of the state’s pride and a victory banner. He emphasized that the flag represents the welfare of Tamil Nadu and announced that it will now fly across the country. Alongside the flag, the Kazhagam’s official song was also released.
Vijay expressed confidence in the party’s success, stating, “Tamil Nadu will win from now on. Victory is certain.” The unveiling ceremony took place at the party’s headquarters in Panayur, where recent photos of Vijay hoisting the party flag and rehearsing at the secretariat had gone viral.
