The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Wednesday late night released the final results for the Group-1 examination, bringing an end to weeks of controversy. The announcement followed a High Court division bench order that allowed the recruitment process to continue, clearing the way for the results. TGPSC confirmed that 562 candidates have been selected for 563 posts, with one post withheld due to pending legal issues. The details of the selected candidates have been made available on the Commission’s official website, with Lakshmideepika securing the top rank.
According to TGPSC, the selections were based on candidates’ post preferences, main examination scores, merit, reservation, and roster policies. All top 10 rankers opted for Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) posts, including Lakshmideepika, Dadi Venkataramana, Vamsikrishna Reddy, Jinna Tejaswini, Krithika, Harshavardhan, Anusha, Nikhita, Bhavya, and Srikrishnasai.
The final appointments remain subject to the High Court’s approval. Chairman Burra Venkatesham led the TGPSC board in finalizing the results immediately after the favorable court order. The Commission also warned that any candidate found providing false information would face immediate cancellation of their appointment, with appropriate action taken as per TGPSC regulations. Of the total selections, 258 candidates were appointed to Multi-Zone I posts and 304 to Multi-Zone II posts.
