Hyderabad: The Telangana School Education Department has released the schedule for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2025. The exams will be held from June 18 to 30, conducted in two shifts per day. This comes despite the earlier notification which had mentioned June 15 as the tentative start date.
Two-Shift Format and Subject Papers
The exams will be conducted in two shifts — from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM — and will be divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. Hall tickets are expected to be available from June 9.
The exams will be conducted in English and Telugu, with additional medium options available in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu, Bengali, and Sanskrit for select subjects. The exam series will begin with Paper 2: Mathematics and Science, and will span 16 sessions across multiple days. On the final day, Paper 2 exams for Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in minority languages will be conducted.
District-wise Exam Centres, Over 1.83 Lakh Applications Received
Test centres have been established across various districts including Hyderabad, Warangal, Nalgonda, Khammam, Sircilla, Mancherial, Mulugu, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Patancheru, and Sangareddy.
A total of 1,83,653 applications were received for TG TET 2025 — 63,261 for Paper 1 and 1,20,392 for Paper 2.
