Another tragic incident has claimed the life of a Telugu student in the US. Sai Surya Avinash (26), a resident of Chityala in Gopalapuram Mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, tragically passed away after accidentally falling into a waterfall on Monday.
On Sunday, which was a holiday, Avinash visited a friend’s house along with his sister’s family. They ventured to a nearby waterfall where, according to family members, Avinash accidentally fell into the water and lost his life while enjoying his time there. Plans are underway to repatriate Avinash’s body to his hometown.
His parents, Gadde Srinivas and Sirisha, were devastated upon hearing the news of their son’s untimely demise. Relatives and friends have expressed deep sorrow over the loss of a promising student who had gone abroad for higher studies. Avinash had moved to the US in January 2023 to pursue his MS degree. Just a month ago, two other Telugu students also tragically lost their lives in a similar accident at the waterfall.
