Telangana Rising Global Summit Secures Record Investments Worth Rs. 5.75 Lakh Crore

The Telangana Rising Global Summit, organized by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, attracted record-level investments from a range of companies. Government sources confirmed that agreements totaling Rs. 5.75 lakh crore were signed over the two-day event held on December 8 and 9. On this occasion, the government also unveiled the Telangana Rising Vision-2047 document outlining the state’s long-term development roadmap.

Key Agreements Signed

* Infraki Parks signed an agreement with the Telangana government for Rs. 70,000 crore to develop a 1 GW data park on 150 acres.
* JSK Infra Projects finalized a Rs. 9,000 crore investment agreement.
* Investments worth Rs. 7,045 crore were secured in the tourism sector.
* AGP Group committed Rs. 6,750 crore for a 1 GW data center.
* Biological-E announced a Rs. 3,500 crore investment for research, development, and manufacturing.
* Fertis India signed a Rs. 2,000 crore agreement to establish a food and agriculture research center.
* Food Link F&B Holdings committed Rs. 3 crore for business expansion.
* Food Link will develop Dream Valley Golf and Resorts with a Rs. 1,000 crore investment.
* Flag-In plans to establish a hybrid motorcycle manufacturing center with Rs. 1,100 crore.

CM Revanth Reddy’s Vision
Speaking at the event, CM Revanth Reddy stated that Telangana aims to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He highlighted that the Vision-2047 document was prepared to ensure inclusive growth for youth, farmers, economically disadvantaged groups, and businesses, with a focus on freedom, social justice, and equality. He also aligned Telangana’s goals with Prime Minister Modi’s $30 trillion economy target, emphasizing the importance of education and irrigation for national development, as envisioned by the first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.

Future City Development
Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted plans to create a Future City spanning 13,500 acres, designed as a green, net-zero carbon city. The city will be developed as Hyderabad’s fourth nucleus, with metro connectivity and zoning for AI City, Health City, Entertainment District, Sports Hub, Eco-Tourism, and Education Zone, catering to both national and international investments.

The summit witnessed participation from prominent business leaders, including Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, veteran actor Chiranjeevi, and former RBI Governor Duvvuri Subbarao. Anand Mahindra noted that the Vision-2047 document was prepared with long-term goals in mind. He recalled initially declining the role of chairman for the proposed Skill University due to his commitments with Tech Mahindra University, but later agreed after understanding the state’s vision and objectives
