The Telangana State Election Commission has released the schedule for the Telangana Local Body Elections 2025. Elections will be conducted in 12,760 villages and 1,13,534 wards, with approval granted for a three-phase polling process. State Election Commissioner Rani Kumudini announced that polling will be held on December 11, 14, and 17, from 7 AM to 1 PM, followed by counting from 2 PM onwards. The Model Code of Conduct has come into effect starting today.
According to the Commission, nominations for the first phase will begin on November 27, followed by the second phase from November 30, and the third phase from December 3. Officials stated that all arrangements are being made to ensure smooth conduct of the elections across the state.
The Election Commissioner further clarified that Telangana has 1.66 crore rural voters, and all voter-related details, including the updated electoral rolls, will be made available on the Commission’s official website. Authorities are urging citizens to verify their details ahead of the polls to ensure maximum voter participation.
