Hyderabad: In a significant step to widen access to its flagship employment initiative, the Telangana government has announced that applications for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme will now be accepted both online and offline. The move aims to provide greater convenience to unemployed youth from disadvantaged sections who may face challenges with digital submissions.

The scheme, introduced to promote self-employment among SC, ST, BC, and minority youth, offers financial assistance ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 4 lakh. The state has allocated Rs 6,000 crore for the programme, which is expected to benefit nearly five lakh young entrepreneurs across the state.

Until now, applications were accepted only through the MeeSeva online platform. Going forward, offline applications can also be submitted at Mandal Parishad Development Offices (MPDOs) and municipal offices. Authorities have clarified that offline application is intended for those unable to complete the online process.

Model application forms have been released, and applicants are required to fill in 27 sections and attach key documents such as Aadhaar, caste certificate, and either a food security card or income certificate. Persons with disabilities must also submit the relevant proof. The offline submissions will be digitised and entered into the system by designated staff.

To facilitate the process, all Mandal and municipal offices will establish dedicated *Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Help Desks*. Ward officers in urban local bodies will oversee the offline application management.

As per the subsidy structure:
– Loans below Rs 50,000 are eligible for a 100% subsidy.
– Loans up to Rs 1 lakh will receive 80% subsidy.
– Loans between Rs 1–2 lakh will get 70% subsidy.
– Loans from Rs 2–3 lakh are eligible for a 60% subsidy.

The last date to apply has been extended to April 14. Eligible youth can apply online at [https://tgobmms.cgg.gov.in](https://tgobmms.cgg.gov.in) or submit their applications through the designated offline centres.
