The Telangana High Court has refused to quash the FIRs filed against anchor Vishnupriya in connection with the betting app promotions case. The Panjagutta police had earlier issued notices to Vishnupriya and 11 other celebrities over their alleged involvement in promoting illegal betting applications.
Vishnupriya had filed a petition seeking the dismissal of the FIRs, but the court, after reviewing the case, rejected her plea and directed her to cooperate with the investigation.

On March 20, Vishnupriya appeared before the Panjagutta police, accompanied by her legal counsel. She underwent nearly 11 hours of interrogation, during which she reportedly admitted to promoting three betting applications. Following this, authorities have summoned her again for further questioning on March 25.
The Telangana police have intensified their crackdown on betting app endorsements, taking legal action against several public figures. Allegations have also surfaced against actors Rana Daggubati and Vijay Deverakonda regarding similar promotions. As concerns over illegal betting operations grow, enforcement agencies are closely monitoring celebrity endorsements linked to such platforms.
