The Telangana School Education Department has released the notification for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET) 2025. Applications will be accepted from November 15, with the last date for submission on November 29. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted from January 3 to January 31, 2026.
This is the second phase of the TG-TET for 2025, following the first phase conducted earlier this year. The initial exams were completed, and results were announced on July 22. The department has urged eligible candidates to apply within the stipulated timeline.
The notification comes in the wake of a Supreme Court verdict mandating that all teachers currently serving in government schools must qualify in the TET to continue in their positions. Consequently, government school teachers will now also be required to pass the TG-TET to maintain their current employment.
