Ahmedabad: Tata Group has extended its condolences over the tragic Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad, describing the incident as a national tragedy. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Tata Sons Chairman expressed profound grief and assured full support to the victims and their families.
The group announced an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 1 crore each to the families of those who lost their lives in the crash. Additionally, Tata Group will bear all medical expenses for the injured passengers.
