New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and former Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in connection with a case stemming from his allegations of Rs 25,000 crore corruption by the Congress-led state government.
The case originates from a complaint filed by Aatram Suguna at the Utnoor Police Station, following KTR’s public statements accusing the Congress government of misappropriating Rs 25,000 crore. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against KTR.

Challenging the FIR, KTR approached the Telangana High Court, which subsequently ruled in his favour. However, petitioner Aatram Suguna contested the High Court’s decision and moved the Supreme Court.
A bench headed by Justice Sanjay Karol heard the matter on Friday and issued a notice to KTR, directing him to respond to the petition. Further hearings are expected in the coming weeks.
