Kokapet in Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy district, has witnessed record-breaking land prices once again. One acre of land recently sold for Rs 151.25 crore, reflecting the surging demand in Hyderabad’s premium real estate market.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) conducted an auction at the Neopolis layout on Friday. Plot numbers 15 and 16, totaling 9.06 acres, were sold for Rs 1,353 crore. During the auction, one acre alone fetched Rs 51.35 crore.
Earlier, land with survey numbers 17 and 18 in Neopolis was auctioned. One acre from survey number 17 sold for Rs 137.25 crore, exceeding the reserve price of Rs 99 crore per acre.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) held an auction in Rayadurg, where 7.67 acres were sold to a single buyer for Rs 1,357 crore. The minimum price per acre was set at Rs 101 crore.
These transactions underscore the strong demand and escalating value of land in Hyderabad’s strategic commercial zones.
