New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his handling of Pakistan and terrorism-related issues. Taking to social media platform X, Gandhi posed three pointed questions following the Prime Minister’s recent remarks made during a public meeting in Gujarat.
Sharing a video clip of Modi’s speech, Gandhi asked:
1. Why did you believe Pakistan’s statements on terrorism?
2. Why did you place India’s interests at the feet of Donald Trump?
3. Why does your blood boil only in front of the cameras?
आपने भारत के सम्मान से समझौता कर लिया! pic.twitter.com/HhjqbjDsaB

Gandhi’s post comes in response to Modi’s comments in which the Prime Minister asserted that “it is not blood, but sindoor flowing through my veins” and warned of a tough response to terrorism. However, the Congress MP accused Modi of dramatizing the issue, questioning the government’s decision to enter into a ceasefire agreement with Pakistan despite prior claims of a tough stance against terrorism.
Gandhi also criticized Modi for allegedly trusting Pakistan’s denial of involvement in promoting terrorism. His remarks have added fuel to the ongoing political debate surrounding national security and foreign policy ahead of the upcoming elections.
