Jan Suraaj Party chief and former political strategist Prashant Kishor has stated that he will lead Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to victory in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, drawing a comparison to MS Dhoni’s success with the Chennai team. Speaking at TVK’s first-anniversary celebrations in Mahabalipuram, Kishor remarked that securing a win for Vijay’s party would make him more popular in Tamil Nadu than Dhoni.
Kishor, who previously worked as a strategist for the DMK in the last Assembly elections, later exited political consultancy to launch Jan Suraaj but continues to advise select leaders. His participation in TVK’s event has gained attention, especially after his claim of ensuring the party’s electoral success.
With I-PAC no longer under his control, Kishor is reportedly extending support to TVK independently. Meanwhile, Vijay has refrained from criticizing the AIADMK after announcing his political entry, focusing his attacks solely on the ruling DMK. Political analysts suggest that he is strategically positioning himself for a potential alliance with AIADMK, believing that TVK’s success could be bolstered by support from Jayalalithaa’s loyalists.
