Tirumala: In a surprising turn of events, police have issued notices to Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) Duvvada Srinivas and Divvela Madhuri under Section 41A, requesting their presence for questioning. The action comes after a complaint was lodged by TTD officials alleging that the duo engaged in public nuisance by filming reels in the Mada streets of Tirumala.

The police have registered a case against the MLCs under sections BNS 292, 296, and 300, raising concerns about their conduct in a sensitive religious area. It remains uncertain whether they will comply with the police summons.

Recent Case Against Madhuri

This latest development follows a previous case registered against Madhuri in Tirumala One Town. The temple vigilance officer alleged that her actions in the Mada streets of Tirumala were detrimental to religious sentiments, particularly during the Brahmotsav festival, which is considered a significant event in the area. Consequently, police have filed charges against her under BNS sections 292, 296, 300, as well as section 66 of the year 2000-2008.

Ongoing Controversy

The controversy surrounding Duvvada Srinivas, Vani, and Madhuri has generated considerable public interest. Amid suspicions that Duvvada Srinivas is cohabitating with another woman, his wife Vani and their children staged a protest in front of their residence. In a media statement, Madhuri claimed she is merely a friend of Duvvada Srinivas. Conversely, Duvvada Srinivas has stated that he is not living with Vani but with Madhuri, further intensifying the public scrutiny of the situation. The ongoing dispute continues to attract attention, with developments unfolding daily.
