Prime Minister Narendra Modi has alleged that certain forces are attempting to divide the country and are opposed to India’s religious and cultural traditions. Reacting strongly to recent criticism from the opposition regarding the Maha Kumbh Mela, he stated that those making such remarks exhibit a “slave mentality.”
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Bhagheswar Dham Medical and Science Research Center in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, Modi remarked that efforts to divide society have been ongoing for centuries. “A section of leaders is trying to create divisions among people. Those who harbor hatred towards Hindu beliefs have existed for generations. It is individuals with a slave mindset who continuously attack our faith, traditions, and culture. They exploit our festivals and customs with the sole agenda of fostering discord and dismantling unity,” he said.
