The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the Telangana phone tapping case has intensified its probe. SIT officials visited the Nandinagar residence of former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to deliver a notice summoning him for questioning on Friday at 3 PM. Considering his age, KCR is not required to appear at the police station, and officials assured that the inquiry would be conducted at a location convenient to him.
Earlier, SIT had already interrogated KTR, Harish Rao, and former MP Santosh Rao in connection with the case. The investigation continues to focus on key decisions and communications during KCR’s tenure, as authorities aim to gather all relevant information regarding the alleged phone tapping.
