The Parliament sessions have officially commenced, with the NDA government, now in its third term at the Centre, set to present its budget. The sessions are scheduled to continue until August 12.

During today’s proceedings, opposition leaders raised concerns about the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) issue, criticizing the handling of student affairs. Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, labeled the recent NEET paper leak as a “serious issue,” asserting that it jeopardizes students’ futures.

In response, the Union Education Minister defended the current administration, pointing out that the NEET exam was originally introduced by the UPA government. He reiterated that the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) is actively investigating the paper leak incident.
