Patna: JDU leader Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth time. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath at a ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and other dignitaries.
Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also took oath. A total of 26 ministers were sworn in, including members from BJP (14), JDU (8), LJP (Ram Vilas) (2), Hindustani Awam Morcha (1), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (1). Nitish Kumar is expected to induct an additional 10 ministers into his cabinet.
