Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra clinched the silver medal at the Paris Olympics with a throw of 89.45 meters. Despite making five fouls in his six attempts, Chopra’s second throw proved to be his best, securing him second place.
Pakistan’s Nadeem Arshad emerged victorious with a gold medal-winning throw of 92.97 meters, setting a new Olympic record in the javelin throw. Arshad’s performance included another impressive throw of 91.79 meters, surpassing Chopra’s best and earning him the top spot.
