Hyderabad: Congress candidate Naveen Yadav secured a decisive victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election, defeating BRS candidate Maganti Sunita by a margin of 24,729 votes. The Returning Officer officially handed over the certificate of victory to Yadav, who later addressed the media.
“I sincerely thank the people of Jubilee Hills for electing me with such a large majority. This victory reflects the hard work of party workers and the trust the residents have placed in me,” Naveen Yadav said. He emphasized that he will honor this mandate by working inclusively for the development of the constituency.
Naveen Yadav contrasted his approach with that of the BRS, stating, “While BRS has engaged in politics of vengeance in the past, I will focus on uniting everyone to ensure progress in our region.” He expressed gratitude to the Congress leadership, including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, ministers, senior leaders, and local party workers for their support.
Addressing allegations of rigging and intimidation, Naveen Yadav said, “These claims are baseless. The people have rejected smear campaigns and voted with confidence. I will take constituency issues to the CM and work toward their resolution.”
Reaffirming his development-focused agenda, Naveen Yadav added, “I will work to bring higher budgets and further development to Jubilee Hills, ensuring progress for all sections of society.”
