TDP MLA Raghurama Krishnam Raju has filed a complaint with CM Chandrababu, demanding strict action against those responsible for custodial violence against him. He urged immediate action against former CM Jagan, IPS officers PV Sunil Kumar and Seetharam Anjaneyulu, CID officer Vijayapal, Dr. Prabhavati (Guntur GGH), and others.
Raghurama revealed that soon after the formation of the new government in Andhra Pradesh, he had filed an FIR regarding the custodial violence he had faced, seeking necessary action. He emphasized the need for the immediate custody of the accused, highlighting the denial of anticipatory bail to CID officer Vijayapal by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Raju also accused PV Sunil Kumar, IPS, of interference and intimidation in the investigation. He appealed for immediate justice.
