Minister Ponguleti Srinivas announced today that lands previously taken by the former government will be redistributed to the poor. Speaking during a tour in Guvvala Gudem of Nelakondapalli mandal, he recalled that during Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure as Chief Minister, land pattas were granted to the underprivileged for assigned lands, which were later reclaimed by the previous administration.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas revealed that 4.50 lakh houses will be constructed across the state in the coming days. He emphasized the current government’s commitment to advancing education and healthcare, highlighting the Rajiv Aarogyasri programme, which provides free medical treatment worth up to Rs 10 lakh for the poor.

Ponguleti Srinivas praised the government’s pro-poor and pro-farmer policies, noting that Rs 31,000 crore in farmers’ loans have been waived. He acknowledged the challenges faced by farmers due to the Dharani land records system and assured that it is being reformed as promised during the elections.

“The people are content with Congress rule, and Indiramma’s kingdom has brought about good governance,” Ponguleti Srinivas stated. “Our aim is to bring happiness to the faces of girl children and farmers.”
